this book boraches the issue of the pseudo-science astrology,
more exactly horoscopes. it doesn‘t want to evidence or disprove
them, only reflect the way they work on an artistic basis. the
publication consists of two seperate books, who are linked through
a magnet. the first book includes a photographic journal
about a 4 weeks period, as well as a theoretical text about the
scientificity of astrology. the second book shows isolated phrases
from weekly horoscopes, that concerne the same 4 weeks. further
some constellations that can be seen during those 4 weeks and
infographics about my general mood. the two books can and should
be read at once. small symbols on the side of the page mark,
which pictures and phrases i combined. the size and color of the
picture shows, if i thought it was true or false. the reader can simply
follow my suggestions, or he can start to combine pictures and
phrases by his own and therefore generate new pairs. i want to show
that horoscopes often work trough their generalizing diction.
even if they aren‘t true and you don‘t believe in them, they can be
both clumsy, dumb but also funny, poetical, and inspiring. i wanted
to create a book that starts an interaction with the viewer.
the linear reading can be broken and gives every viewer the chance
to read the book as he likes.
